Whiteman to Teach MOOCs

Are you interested in brushing up on your Statics skills?  Want to know what’s going on in the Woodruff School lately?  Consider taking a free massive open online course (MOOC) entitled “Introduction to Engineering Mechanics” taught by our very own Dr. Wayne Whiteman to begin on September 16. This MOOC will address the material covered in the 1st half of the Statics course at George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech.

Upon graduating from Georgia Tech, Tom entered the U.S. Air Force. Tom started his career in 1956 with Georgia Iron Works Co.

4 NRE Students Receive Financial Support to Pursue Degree

The Energy Department awarded nearly $5 million to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing nuclear engineering and science degrees. The awards include 37 undergraduate scholarships (1 from Georgia Tech) and 31 graduate-level fellowships (3 from Georgia Tech) for students studying at American colleges and universities.
